We returned to Chiang Mai Women’s Correctional Institution for the second consecutive year, continuing our mission to share knowledge on building low-cost DIY air purifiers. This time, we worked with 100 selected female inmates, demonstrating step-by-step assembly and practical use.
During the session, PM2.5 levels were as high as 90–120 µg/m³. But after installing the air purifiers, levels dropped to below 10—clearly showing the impact and giving participants both confidence and hope that they can take control of the air around them.
Beyond learning how to select materials and assemble purifiers, this workshop also opened new perspectives—transforming these skills into potential future livelihoods, and creating small opportunities that may grow into more stable paths after release.

เราได้กลับมาเยือนทัณฑสถานหญิงเชียงใหม่อีกครั้ง ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 2 เพื่อถ่ายทอดความรู้เรื่องการจัดทำเครื่องฟอกอากาศแบบ DIY ต้นทุนต่ำ พร้อมสาธิตวิธีการประกอบให้กับผู้ต้องขังหญิงชั้นดีจำนวน 100 ท่าน
แม้ในระหว่างการอบรม ค่าฝุ่น PM2.5 จะอยู่ที่ประมาณ 90–120 ไมโครกรัมต่อลูกบาศก์เมตร แต่หลังจากติดตั้งเครื่องฟอกอากาศ ค่าฝุ่นลดลงเหลือต่ำกว่า 10 อย่างเห็นได้ชัด สร้างความมั่นใจและความหวังให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมทุกท่าน ว่าพวกเขาสามารถดูแลคุณภาพอากาศรอบตัวได้ด้วยตนเอง
นอกจากองค์ความรู้ในการเลือกซื้ออุปกรณ์และการประกอบเครื่องฟอกอากาศแล้ว กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ยังเปิดมุมมองใหม่ในการต่อยอดเป็นทักษะอาชีพในอนาคต สร้างโอกาสเล็ก ๆ ที่อาจเติบโตเป็นเส้นทางชีวิตที่มั่นคงต่อไป
