07/03/24 Visited the Doi Tung Development Project in Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai.
The DTDP embodies the spirit of cooperation between government organizations and the local community under the auspices of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation, with the mission to enhance the quality of life, culture, and environment for everyone involved. The Mae Fah Luang Foundation has been pivotal in coordinating efforts with the Subdistrict Administrative Organization of Mae Fah Luang.
Situated over 1,000 meters above sea level amidst the complex terrains of the Daen Lao mountain range, which borders Thailand and Myanmar, this area is home to diverse ethnic groups including Akha, Black Lahu, Red Lahu, Yunnan Chinese, Thai Lue, Tai Yai, and Tai Lue, residing across 19 villages. Most inhabitants are engaged in agriculture, primarily corn and coffee farming. However, due to its proximity to Myanmar, the region faces annual challenges with cross-border smoke haze.
BTV has donated 20 DIY air purifier units. One was installed at the community hall, the remaining units are set to benefit the local childcare centers, ensuring a healthier environment for children.
07/03/24 เราได้ไปที่ ศูนย์พัฒนาโครงการหลวงดอยตุง อำเภอแม่ฟ้าหลวง จังหวัดเชียงราย ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานที่สร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างองค์กรรัฐกับคนในชุมชน ในการช่วยส่งเสริม และพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต วัฒนธรรม และสิ่งแวดล้อม ภายใต้มูลนิธิแม่ฟ้าหลวง
ทางมูลนิธิแม่ฟ้าหลวง ได้ช่วยประสานงานกับหน่วยงานท้องถิ่นได้แก่อบต. แม่ฟ้าหลวง
สภาพภูมิ เป็นภูเขาสูงสลับซับซ้อนเหนือระดับน้ำทะเลประมาณ 1,000 เมตรของเทือกเขาแดนลาวซึ่งกั้นระหว่างไทยและพม่า ประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่ ประกอบด้วยชนชาวไทยภูเขาหลายเผ่าพันธุ์ เช่น อาข่า ลาหู่ดำ ลาหู่แดง จีนยูนนาน ไทยลื้อ ไทยใหญ่ ไทยลั๊วะ ซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ตามหุบเขาและไหล่เขาครอบคลุมทั้งหมด 19 หมู่บ้าน ชาวบ้านส่วนใหญ่ประกอบอาชีพทำไร่ข้าวโพดและไร่กาแฟ แต่เนื่องด้วยมีพื้นที่ติดเขตแดนประเทศพม่า จึงเกิดปัญหาหมอกควันจากประเทศเพื่อนบ้านทุกปี
ทางโครงการ BTV ได้สนับสนุนชุดเครื่องฟอกอากาศดีไอวายจำนวน 20 ชุด ซึ่งทาง อบต. แม่ฟ้าหลวง ได้ติดตั้งที่ห้องประชุม และส่วนที่เหลือจะนำไปติดตั้งที่ศูนย์เด็กเล็ก ตามหมู่บ้านที่อยู่ในความดูแลทั้งหมด
